Obituary for Darrell Raymond Hutchinson

Hutchinson, Darrell Raymond, age 78, of Bellbrook, passed away Saturday, July 8th, 2017 at the Dayton VA Hospice. He was born February 20th, 1939 to Lonzie Hutchinson and Dora (Ison) Hutchinson. He was a woodworker as well as a furniture refinisher and owned his own business, The Finishing Touch, in Bellbrook for many years.

Darrell loved to spend time with his family but especially his grandchildren Brenden, Austen and Mason. He had an interest in antiques – both car and wood. And although a civil war buff he could also be found watching scifi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Daniel Peppo, sisters Lorene Caskey and Faye Ball. Darrell is survived by wife Linda (Dalton) Hutchinson; son Eric Peppo (Julia); sister Irene Keeton (Bill) and brother-in-law Michael Dalton; three grandchildren Brenden and Austen Peppo, Mason Smith; special friend Greg Deisenroth and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

To help the family celebrate his life, you are invited to share during the visitation at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 West Franklin St, Bellbrook, OH 45385 on Thursday July 13, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 14th, 2017 at 10:00 am at CONNER & KOCH Life Celebration Home. As an Air Force veteran his burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to VA Hospice, Bldg 320, 4100 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428. You are welcome to send a condolence or flowers, light a candle and share a story or picture about Darrell at www.ConnerAndKoch.com.
