Conner and Koch Funeral Home is known to families in Greene County and the Miami Valley area as "a friend of the family" because of our personalized service and attention to detail. We serve all faiths and provide all types of services. We are compassionate funeral directors who listen attentively to our families and provide services tailored to their individual needs. Because we are very familiar with the grief process, we can provide caring and valuable help. We are honored to serve our families in pre-planning, at-need and after-care services.
Conner & Koch Funeral Home was founded in 1968 by H. William Tobias and was first named Tobias Memorial Home. Mr. Tobias owned and operated the funeral home at 92 West Franklin Street (St. Rt. 725), Bellbrook until his retirement in 1986. Steve and Kathy Conner of Waynesville purchased the funeral home in March 1986. The name of the funeral home changed to Tobias-Conner Funeral Home.
Brian and Donna Koch acquired the funeral home in April 1999. Brian is the son of former owners Steve and Kathy Conner. Brian is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He was the managing funeral director from June 1990 until the time of ownership. Donna is a licensed funeral director and licensed social worker. Brian and Donna have three daughters. Their middle daughter, Addison, graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree in Business and is currently serving as the Business Director for Conner & Koch and Dayton Monuments. She is also working to acquire her Funeral Director's License.
Brian formerly served his church as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Promise Keepers Men's Fellowship Teacher. He currently serves as an interim Lead Pastor at Marshall Road Church of God. Brian is also former President of the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Area Chamber of Commerce and Secretary-Treasurer of the 4th District of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. Brian and Donna are members of the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Chamber of Commerce, Bellbrook Cemetery Board, National Funeral Directors Association, Ohio Funeral Directors Association and the Greater Montgomery County Funeral Directors Association.
