Priscilla (Gardner) Weston, age 88, of Utica, passed away Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017 at her son’s home in Bellbrook, OH. She was born March 21st, 1929, daughter of the late Raymond Gardner and Rena Gardner (Jones).

Priscilla was a part of the 1946 Class of Utica Free Academy and then went to Shood Secretarial School in New York City. She was an active committee member in her UFA class reunions.

Priscilla was married on June 19th, 1954 in Utica to the late John E. Weston who owned and operated Weston’s Jersey Dairy in New Hartford. Mr. Weston died August 20, 1965. She entered the jewelry business in 1968 and was employed at Baron’s Jewelers until its closing. In 1973 she joined the sales staff of Lennon’s Jewelers’ downtown store, where she worked until 1989.

Priscilla was a life member of Plymouth Bethesda United Church of Christ. She was a past President of the New Hartford Lions Auxiliary and an active member of the Lioness Club of Greater New Hartford.

Priscilla is survived by her two sons, Seth Weston (Theresa) of Liverpool, New York, and Eric Weston (M.D. Christina) of Bellbrook, Ohio; her five beloved grandchildren, Seth Jr., Sarah, Jessica, Connor, and Lance; her one sister Janet Rigo of Centerville, MA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 20, at 8:30 AM at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home Forty Main St. Whitesboro with Pastor Mike Ballman of the Plymouth Bethesda United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 19 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
