Wilkin, Esther Pauline, age 96, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 at her home.
She was born September 9th, 1921 to Lenna (Coakley) Dixon and Lew Dixon. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and canning. Esther also loved traveling and playing euchre. Her winters were spent in Florida spanning a couple of decades.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Roscoe E "Pete" Wilkin. Esther is survived by daughter Barbara (Paul) Sheidler of Bellbrook, Nancy Bernhard of New Carlisle, 6 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420.
The family will hold a memorial service at Central Christian Church, 1200 Forrer Blvd, Kettering, OH 45420 at 12:00 pm on December 9, 2017, with a casual visitation immediately following the service.
