Ingram, Carley, age 63, died suddenly on Saturday March 11, 2017 in Dayton.

Carley was born on January 22, 1954 in Marietta, Ohio to Georgia June (Lint) and Frederick Robert Ingram. She graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1972. She attended the Ohio State University and graduated from Moritz College of Law where she met her husband of 36 years, Michael Moloney. They graduated in 1980 and moved to Dayton where she accepted a position at the Montgomery County Prosecutors Office. In 1987, they moved to Spring Valley where they raised their family.

Carley was a loving mother and wife. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Mike Moloney, son John Moloney of Austin, Texas; son Daniel Moloney of Avon, Colorado; daughter Catherine Moloney of Avon, Colorado; mother Georgia Ingram formerly of Jeromesvillle, Ohio; sister Georgia Ann Ingram (Chip Chambers) of Savannah, Georgia; sister Janet Sue Ingram of Ashland, Ohio; brother Robert Lee Ingram (Tammy) of Lyons, Georgia.

Carley was retired from Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office where she worked for more than 35 years as the chief of the Appellate Division. Among her many professional victories as Chief Appellate, she argued in front of the United States Supreme Court and won. She followed politics and poured her heart into a campaign for judge in 2013. Carley will be remembered by family and friends as a compassionate, driven and inspiring woman.

Carley was passionate about reading and was part of a close knit book club for more than 30 years.
She loved crossword puzzles especially those found in the New York Times. She had a vast knowledge of current events, facts and trivia. Since retiring, she also enjoyed canning, cooking and baking.

Carley formerly attended church at Central Christian Church, St. Albert the Great, and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate her life on Thursday March 16th from 4-8 pm at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook (937-848-6651). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30am on Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville with Father Tom Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Artemis Domestic Violence Center, 310 Monument Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45402.
