Hamilton, Mildred M., 90, of Wilmington, formerly of Sabina and Bellbrook, passed away Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 27, 1926 in Washington Courthouse, Ohio to Josie (Stultz) Coder and Founty Coder. She was a member of St. Columbkille in Wilmington, and most recently attended St. Augustine in Waynesville and St. Francis in Centerville. After retiring from Medical Associates in Wilmington, where she worked as a registered nurse, she worked in the cafeteria at the Bellbrook Middle School. Mildred was most passionate about her family, working hard, exercising and eating right. She also enjoyed reading books, watching the CNN ticker and U.D. Basketball. In her earlier years, she like canning, sewing, baking and traveling/camping with family.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, sister Jean Driscoll, brothers Charles Coder and Larry Newland. She is survived by her daughter Diane Riggs and sons Michael (Pattie) Hamilton, Robert Hamilton, Gregory (Carol), and Rick (Ellen) Hamilton. She is also survived by her brother Paul Newland and sisters Barbara Smith and Sue Newland; 11 Grandchilden Matt Hamilton, Joe (Miranda) Riggs, Jennifer (Levi) Papst, Jimmy (Patti) Riggs, Jason Riggs, Tony Hamilton, Joshua Hamilton, Katharine Hamilton, Amie (Brett) Goode, Molly (Gabe) Moorman, Kelly (Caleb) Jack and 14 great-granchildren.

A visitation to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday March 2, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook, with a St. Francis vigil service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville with Father Tom Schmidt officiating. The burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. In memory of Mildred, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
