A generous, honest, and people pleasing man of his word, Michael J. "Mike" Semelsberger, age 63, of Bellbrook, passed away Saturday, May 6th, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton.
Mike was born November 15th, 1953 to Jack Semelsberger and Juanita (Caton) Semelsberger.
He was preceded in death by his his parents, wife Christy, brother Jeff, and sister-in-law Denise Frieden.
Mike is survived by his son, Jeremy Semelsberger (Kristen Stevenson) of Jamestown, and their children, Maya, Aida, and Eli; three brothers, Jack Semelsberger (Elaine) of Florida, Steve Semelsberger (Connie) of Meigs County, Ohio, and Jimmy Semelsberger (Lisa) of Florida; and one sister, Lisa Semelsberger of Florida..
More than anything, Mike was a devoted family man, especially to his grandbabies. He enjoyed spending time camping, fishing and grilling out at Cowan Lake, one of his favorite places. Mike was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals.
To help the family celebrate his life, you are invited to wear Buckeyes, Reds or Bengals paraphernalia as we share fishing and camping stories about Mike on Wednesday May 10th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 West Franklin Street, Bellbrook (937-848-6651). A life celebration service will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
