Maynard, Gregory Steven "Greg" of Houston, Texas, formerly of Dayton, passed away March 26, 2017 at the age of 61. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 18, 1956 to Lacy and June (Livingston) Maynard.

After graduating from high school Greg completed his real estate licensing and was employed by Lennar Homes. During his free time he enjoyed poker, table tennis, billiards and marlin fishing; and he belonged to a Ping Pong Association as well as professional real estate groups.

Greg was preceded in death by his father Lacy Maynard and step-father Warren Kail. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret Seals Maynard and his two sons Adrian (Patrina) Maynard and Samuel Maynard as well as his mother June Maynard Kail, sisters Penny (Rand Oliver) Profitt and Lisa Brown, step-sister Lavita Kail (Anton) Bosma and step-brother Mike Kail and nephews Derek Profitt, Alex Profitt and niece Lacy )(Joshua) Bugai. His step-children include Monica Alexander, Lee Alexander, Teresa Alexander; and sister-in-laws: Rachel Alexander, Teresa (Todd Clemons) Alexander, Cynthia Alexander, Jaqueline (Kelvin) Reece as well as step-niece and nephew Mary (Anthony) Oliver Mahone and John (Samantha) Oliver and a host of friends and loved one.

He was known for his kind and generous nature. He will be greatly missed by all.

You are invited to celebrate Greg's life from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 31 at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook. Life celebration services will be on Saturday April 1 at Fairview Primitive Baptist Church, 2353 Ferry Rd, Bellbrook with visitation at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Fairview Primitive Baptist Cemetery.
