Obituary for Margaret Ann "Mac" Hogue (MacDonald)

Hogue, Margaret Ann, of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, January 1st, 2017, at the age of 90. Margaret was born on December 25th, 1926 to Florence (MacKillop) MacDonald and John MacDonald in Detroit, Michigan. Margaret was a dedicated wife and mother of three, an accomplished oil painter, avid reader, and a reliable volunteer. She was a loyal member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where she served on the Bereavement Committee and attended the St. Francis Keenagers. Margaret will be remembered for her patient temperament, kind heart and strong faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Richard Hogue, and 6 siblings. Margaret will be dearly missed by her 2 daughters, Ruth Addison of Centerville, Ellen Hogue of Florida, son, Richard Hogue (Laura) of Cincinnati, four grandchildren Lorine, Tracy, Kaitlin, Trevor, four great-grandchildren, Spencer, Cameron, Westin, Andrew, three brothers, Hugh, Neil, Grant, and three sisters, Barbara, Anne and Evelyn. There will be a life celebration visitation on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 10:30am - 11:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:30am with Father Tom Schmidt officiating.
