Michelson, Cathy Jean (Taylor)
A loving wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister and friend, passed away unexpectedly Sunday March 18, 2012 at the age of 60. She was born August 24, 1951 in Xenia and graduated from Xenia High School in 1969. Cathy was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed an accomplished career as office manager at Gordon Stowe for over 25 years as well as an equally distinguished life as a supportive wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Dan & Elsie Comford and Raymond & Ruth Taylor, in-laws Bea & Stanley Michelson, aunt Patricia Caraway, uncles Cloice Comford & Ivan Taylor. Cathy is survived by her husband Alan, her children Nicole Shelley (Charles), Clint Anderson and Aaron Michelson, grandchildren Paige & Brooke Shelley and Sophia Anderson, parents William & Doris Jean (Comford) Taylor, brother William Taylor (Rose), sisters Denise Young (Ricky), Dawn Renee’ Shover (Carl), and Tonya Disbrow, brother-in-law Denis Michelson, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Wednesday March 21 from 5-8 pm at Conner & Koch Funeral Home, 92 W. Franklin St. (S.R. 725), Bellbrook and Thursday from 10-11 am at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4030 W. Franklin St. (S.R. 725), Bellbrook. A celebration of Cathy’s life will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the church. Rev. Daniel Fant & Rabbi Judy Chessin officiating. Burial in Davids Cemetery.
